conference abstracts


Abstracts may be submitted for oral, poster presentations or publications only. Authors are asked to advise their preference; however, the decision of which abstracts to select for oral presentation is the responsibility of the Conference Scientific Committee.

Abstracts must be submitted via the online submission and registration system only. Only abstracts submitted via the online submission form will be sent to the Abstract Review Committee for review. Abstracts submitted by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.

Please note that there are no limits on the number of abstracts which can be submitted, however each individual will be selected to present a maximum of two presentations (either Oral or Poster presentation).

The Conference Scientific Committee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted. They will endeavor to schedule abstracts according to authors' preferences but reserve the right to decide on the final form of presentation.

A confirmation email will be sent to you when your abstract has been received.

Please contact the Secretariat if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been received.

Abstracts must be submitted in English.

Faxed or emailed abstracts will not be considered.

Abstract title - limited to 20 words in UPPER CASE

Abstract text – limited to 300 words

Abstract layout - Abstracts must be submitted with the following sections:     

  • Keywords
  • Objectives
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions

References are not obligatory and word count is affected by inclusion of references.
The submission form does not allow you to store your abstract as a draft in order to make changes. In case any changes need to be made, you are welcome to contact the Secretariat. Please note that abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline in order to be sent to review for inclusion in the Scientific Program.

Presenting authors must be registered participants. Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees (exempt from payment are invited speakers, members of organizing and scientific committee) by the Early Registration Deadline will be scheduled for presentation and included for publication.

For the first time the annual “Children’s Health Day” conference incorporates with the “International Pediatric Student Conference 2018” and students interested in pediatrics are especially welcome!

Students will have an opportunity to present in following sections:

1)    Student scientific works;

2)    Clinical case reports;

3)    E-poster session.

Students should add information about their supervisor in the field of body text. Following information should be provided

  • Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country

Student’s case report should consist of following sections:

  • Keywords
  • Background
  • Case report
  • Conclusions

All abstracts received will be comprised in electronic book of abstracts.
